About Me
Connecting with and supporting others has always been very important to me. Growing up in a small, rural community, I have learned just how important leaning on one another can be, and I have always had a passion for helping others as so many have done for me.
I am a licensed clinical social worker and have been in the field since 2013 in various roles and settings. I am LGBTQ+ affirming and have experience working with young children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric populations. I spent several years working in the hospital and emergency room settings, providing grief support for individuals receiving hospice care, supporting victims of crime, and providing both long and short term therapy for individuals and families. Additionally, I have worked in a multitude of crisis settings treating first responders, veterans and working alongside law enforcement.
My approach in therapy is first and foremost to make my clients feel comfortable and accepted wherever they’re at in their healing journey. I lead with empathy, validation and compassion, while also offering various therapeutic and trauma focused interventions. I like to help those who might feel “stuck” by taking steps toward change that feels within their capacity, utilizing solution focused methods.
